Stingray
The Stingray Internet Radio module was built to compliment the Barracuda platform and uses the same software architecture. The main difference between the platforms is that Stingray can be provided with on board FM and DAB hardware.
It has the same low cost and rapid development solution that enables digital audio manufacturers and consumer electronics brands to quickly and easily develop stand alone, network connected audio products but with the addition of DAB band III, L-Band and DAB+ as well as FM RDS.
You can choose from any variation of DAB/FM/Internet.
Stingray supports all the major audio and playlist formats as well as the 3 major streaming protocols - RTSP, MMS and HTTP.
It can support any display interface, storage devices such as SD, USB and iPod, as well as FM, CD mechanisms, IR and RF remote controls or any other audio related feature.
With over 1000 configurable options either at factory or consumer, the Stingray is the most flexible combined Internet, FM, DAB module available.
Reciva can provide complete reference designs and evaluation kits which can be used to help you quickly develop Stingray based systems.
