Phil Riley, Chairman

Phil Riley (49) was CEO of Chrysalis Radio from 1999 to 2007, and led its sale in July 2007 to Global Radio for £170m, creating a near £100m profit on disposal for Chrysalis shareholders. He has almost 30 years radio experience, and holds an MBA from Columbia business School.

Ben Terrell, Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining Reciva, Ben spent most of his career as a proprietary trader in the City of London. After initial training with UBS he spent almost five years at Salomon Brothers in the Equity Division. More recently, he was Head of Equity Proprietary Trading at UFJ International plc, the London-based investment banking arm of Japanese group UFJ Holdings, where his team returned a consistently high profit.

Phil Blundell, Technical Director

Philip is responsible for software system architecture, design and development at Reciva. Philip is well known in the open-source software community and has been involved in development of the Linux kernel, the GNU compiler collection and Familiar Linux, the embedded operating system used on handheld devices such as the HP iPAQ.

Philip is an experienced software engineer and project manager who has been associated with Reciva since its formation, from implementing the first Reciva prototype Internet radio through to managing the software releases for today’s Reciva Internet radio modules.

Warren East, Non-Executive Director

Warren East, CEO of ARM Holdings plc, www.arm.com will assist in setting the firm’s strategic direction as the company grows with the rapidly expanding Internet Radio product market.

Warren East joined ARM in 1994. He set up ARM’s consulting business and was Vice President, Business Operations from February 1998. In October 2000 he was appointed to the board as Chief Operating Officer and in October 2001 was appointed Chief Executive Officer. Before joining ARM he was with Texas Instruments. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers and a chartered engineer.

Barney Wragg, Non-Executive Director

Barney Wragg is a seasoned digital executive having recently held positions at EMI and Universal Music. At EMI Wragg was Global Head of Digital, where he was responsible for the company’s global digital strategy. This role followed five years as senior vice president for Universal MusieLabs, where Barney was responsible for the international operations of the division, developing Universal’s digital business and generating new revenue streams from emerging technologies. He established relationships with all of the division’s key digital retailers and defined licensing terms for all of its digital products and was also instrumental in major artist campaigns including Live 8 and the U2/Apple campaign.
